Instructions for Authors of Accepted Papers

Please revise your paper carefully according to the comments of the reviewers. Papers must be formatted according to the guidelines of Springer Intelligent Systems and Computing Series. Failure to do so may result in the exclusion of your paper from the proceedings. Please read the authors' instructions carefully before preparing your paper. Each paper is allowed to have 18 pages in the final camera-ready copy. If your paper length exceeds 18 pages, please write to ista.symposium@gmail.com.

Before uploading your camera ready paper, please:

Important Steps

1.Complete your registration.

The instructions for completing your registration are posted at http://www.acn-conference.org/ista2019/registration.html

2. Login to EDAS and choose your paper.

3. Upload your Camera ready paper (Final Paper) in PDF format on EDAS.

The camera ready paper should be formatted according to the Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series Springer template. This template can be downloaded here: https://www.springer.com/us/authors-editors/conference-proceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines

4. Upload the source files of your camera ready paper (WORD or Latex) on EDAS. All Latex files should be submitted as a single zipped file.

5. Submit the copyright form in PDF or image formats from the "Copyright" column in the My papers table or the individual paper page of EDAS.

Each contribution must be accompanied by a Springer copyright form. One author may sign on behalf of all of the authors of a particular paper. In this case, the author signs for and accepts responsibility for releasing the material on behalf of any and all co-authors.

Details of the authors (sequence, names, name and affiliation of corresponding author) given in the copyright form should be complete, final and correspond to the details given in the final paper. As this is a legal document, Springer will not accept changes at a later stage and ask for your understanding in this matter.

Submission (Double Blind)

Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered. The maximum length of the paper is 18 pages (including figures and references). The paper should not contain page numbers or any special headers or footers.

Authors should submit their papers online through EDAS conference management system. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Detailed usage instruction on EDAS can be found here.

The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. The list of authors should not be included in the paper manuscript PDF, in accordance to the double blind submission policy. Changes to the paper metadata on EDAS are permitted before the paper submission deadline.

The organizers regard plagiarism as a serious professional misconduct. All submissions will be screened for plagiarism and when identified, the submissions by the same author will be rejected. A submission SHOULD NOT be intended to get reviews from the Program Committee for the sole purpose of improving on the quality of the paper. A submission implies that the author intends to ultimately register the paper upon a favorable response from the conference organizers.

For the preparation of review mansucripts, please use Springer Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series template. This template can be downloaded here:

ISTA'19 accepts regular and short papers. Regular papers should present novel perspectives within the general scope of the conference. Short papers are an opportunity to present preliminary or interim results.

All accepted papers MUST be presented at the conference by one of the authors, or, if none of the authors are able to attend, by a qualified surrogate

Double Blind Submissions

All submitted papers will be judged based on their originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability through double-blind reviewing, where the identities of the authors are withheld from the reviewers. As an author, you are required to preserve the anonymity of your submission, while at the same time allowing the reader to fully grasp the context of related past work, including your own. Common sense and careful writing will go a long way towards preserving anonymity. Papers that do not conform with our double-blind submission policies will be rejected without review.

Minimally, please take the following steps when preparing your submission:
